Oh oh Bill Oreilly got trapped!
On Bill O’Reilly’s radio
show he expressed surprise at how normal and civilized Sylvia’s is. Sylvia’s is Harlem’s famous soul
food restaurant where he enjoyed coconut shrimp with publicity whore Al Sharpton. What did he expect?
“I couldn’t get over the fact that there was no difference between Sylvia’s
restaurant and any other restaurant in New York City. It was exactly the same, even though it’s run by blacks [and has
a] primarily black patronship,” O’Reilly said. “There wasn’t one person in Sylvia’s who was
screaming, ‘M-Fer, I want more iced tea!’”
“It was like going into an Italian restaurant in an all-white suburb in the sense of people
[who] were sitting there, and they were ordering and having fun. And there wasn’t any kind of craziness at all,”
he said.
After his comments were deemed racist by a few news outlets he states that those outlets are
just trying to drive up ratings. Ummm, no the comments are extremely prejudice. He expressed surprise, that let
us know that he does not have the intellect to figure out that the vast majority of African Americans are just that,
civilized. It lets us know that he feeds into the stereotypes like the average uneducated redneck. He doesn’t understand we
as a people are capable of running establishments with the same grace, class and style as whites. Between him and Adrianne Curry, I don’t know who is “dumber”. At least she is pretty. He doesn’t
have any redeeming qualities.
